Kimock Lick from "Bad Hair"
This is the little jazzy lick from Steve's composition
"Bad Hair." It's a pretty straightforward bebop move,
in the style of, say, Pat Martino. Click here to get an idea of how it ought to sound.

The tune itself is very simple. The head is played over A7,
then F. The lick above is played over a Csus7 chord, resolving
back to the A7 at the end. It's played in a very on the beat,
slightly staccato fashion. It rhymes rhythmically with:
one-po-ta-to-two-po-ta-to-three-po-ta-to-four-po-ta-to,
etc spoken very quickly.
